Instagram per Android? Nuova concorrenza da Google con Pool Party!

Due to the success it is having Instagram on iOS platform (currently not yet available for Android), many are moving for an hard competition to the most popular application for sharing photos with smartphones and tablet. So great is its success that many spin-offs are emerging that exploit the API Instagram, first of all Followgram that extends the basic functionality of Instagram to get a Vanity URL for a gallery of own photos and a follow button to embed in own site/blog.

The new application that promises to give hard time to Instagram is Pool Party, and was released by Slide, a company that is part of Google Inc.
Like all the news by Google, Pool Party is available from the App Store or the Android Market, but you can use it (signup) only by invitation.

We await the official release of Pool Party, since it is currently in beta, and we’ll see what’s new with will present for a market so full of users.

Grazie al successo che sta avendo Instagram su piattaforma iOS (al momento non ancora disponibile per Android), in molti si stanno muovendo per una concorrenza spietata alla più popolare delle applicazioni per la condivisione di foto per smartphone e tablet. Tanto è grande il suo successo che stanno nascendo tantissime applicazioni derivate che sfruttano le API di Instagram; prima fra tutte Followgram che estende le funzioni base di Instagram per ottenere una Vanity URL per una galleria delle proprie foto e un pulsante di follow da incorporare nel proprio sito/blog.

La nuova applicazione che si prospetta darà filo da torcere ad Instagram si chiama Pool Party, ed è stata rilasciata da Slide, una società che fa parte del gruppo Google Inc.
Così come tutte le novità Google, Pool Party è disponibile dall’App Store o dal market di Android, ma è possibile utilizzarla (signup) solo mediante invito.

Attendiamo la release ufficiale di Pool Party, dato che al momento è in versione beta, e vedremo con quali novità si presenterà su un mercato così ricco di utenti.
